Tri-Toned Chunky Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern

- Hook: N/10 mm
- Yarn Weight: Size 5 – Bulky yarn
- Yarn Yardage: 3 different colors – 120 yds each color

ABBREVIATIONS:
- st = stitch
- ch = chain
- hdc = half double crochet
- Hdc-blo = half double crochet back loop only
- tr = treble crochet
- Tr-blo = treble crochet back loop only
FINISHED SIZE: 29” wide x 8” high when seamed together and laid flat
NOTES:
This pattern uses the Hdc-blo (Half double crochet – back loop only) stitch. It is made by yarning over once. Inserting your hook under the back loop of the “v” formation of the next stitch. Then yarning over again, and pulling through all three loops on your hook.
The Tr-blo (Treble crochet – back loop only) is also used and is made the same way as above but you start by yarning over twice instead of once, inserting your hook under the back loop of the “v” formation of the next stitch and then pull the yarn back through the loop. You should now see four loops of yarn on your hook. Catch the yarn. Draw the yarn through the first two loops on the hook. Bring the yarn over the crochet hook from back to front and draw through the next two loops on the hook. Again, bring the yarn over the crochet hook from back to front and draw through the last two loops on the hook.

PATTERN:
Chain 134 in color A.
- Row 1: Hdc into the 3rd chain from the hook and into each chain across the row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 2: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 3: *Tr-blo into the first stitch, hdc-blo into the next stitch* repeat from *to* across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 4: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 5: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
Change to color B yarn.
- Row 6: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 7: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 8: *Tr-blo into the first stitch, hdc-blo into the next stitch* repeat from *to* across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 9: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 10: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
Change to color C yarn
- Row 11: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 12: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 13: *Tr-blo into the first stitch, hdc-blo into the next stitch* repeat from *to* across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 14: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row. Ch 2, turn.
- Row 15: Hdc-blo in each stitch across row and end with a hdc in the top of the turning chain from the previous row.
FINISHING:
Once the scarf is completed, seam the two ends together using the seaming stitch of your preference.
